Find Your Fit at Ride Wild
Good people. Great coaching. Stronger bodies for wilder days.

‍
We believe movement should make life better.

Whether you're looking for personalised strength training, a challenging group workout, a mindful Pilates session or an opportunity to slow down and recover, there's a place for you at Ride Wild.

Our small class sizes and supportive coaching mean you'll never feel like just another face in the room.

At Ride Wild Training, we believe fitness should help you get more out of life, not leave you too exhausted to enjoy it.

Based in the heart of Pemberton, BC, our private strength and movement studio is built around thoughtful coaching, a welcoming community and the belief that moving well and feeling strong should be accessible to everyone.

Whether you're building strength, recovering from injury, improving mobility or simply making time for yourself, our coaches are here to meet you where you're at and help you move forward.

Stronger for the things you love.

‍
Originally from the UK, I followed my heart (and my bike!) to the Coast Mountains of British Columbia and eventually made Pemberton home.

My love of the outdoors has shaped both my life and my approach to coaching. After graduating in 2015 with a degree in Adventure Tourism & Outdoor Recreation, specialising in Adventure Sport Coaching, I began my career coaching mountain biking. In 2018, I became a Certified Personal Trainer, bringing together my passion for movement, strength and adventure.

After years of coaching in different spaces, I founded Ride Wild Training to create something of my own: a welcoming, supportive studio where people could feel comfortable, build confidence and get stronger for whatever life throws their way.

For me, strength training has never been just about lifting heavier weights or chasing numbers. It's about building a body that allows you to keep doing the things you love, whether that's skiing all day, tackling a challenging bike trail, heading into the mountains or simply moving through everyday life feeling capable and confident.

My coaching style is thoughtful, encouraging and personal. I believe in meeting people where they're at, understanding their individual goals and building strength in a way that's sustainable. I'm big on good movement, education, consistency and making training something you genuinely look forward to.

When I'm not in the studio, you'll probably find me on my mountain bike, exploring the mountains, snowboarding, surfing or enjoying a good coffee.

‍Ride Wild is my way of bringing together everything I love about movement, adventure and community.

Performance, movement and holistic recovery.

‍
A former rugby player turned multi-sport mountain athlete, Ryan brings over eight years of experience in personal training and strength and conditioning, alongside a passion for helping people move better, build strength and get more out of the activities they love.

Having spent much of the past decade coaching in Australia, Ryan has worked with everyone from everyday individuals and recreational athletes to semi-professional athletes and sporting teams. His approach combines strength, functional movement and biomechanics with an understanding of the importance of recovery, helping people build strong, capable bodies for life both in and outside the mountains.

Alongside his performance coaching background, Ryan has spent the past six years exploring and facilitating breathwork, somatic therapy and sound healing. This experience has shaped his holistic approach to health and wellbeing, recognising that feeling your best involves more than just physical strength. Managing stress, supporting the nervous system and making time for recovery are all important pieces of the puzzle.

At Ride Wild, Ryan brings these two worlds together, offering personalised strength coaching alongside his weekly Rest & Restore classes. Whether you're looking to improve your performance, move with greater confidence or find a better balance between training and recovery, Ryan is passionate about helping you build a body and lifestyle that supports what you love doing.

Outside the studio, you'll usually find him snowboarding, trail running, exploring the mountains or learning more about human behaviour and the body's incredible ability to adapt.
